Children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years

Minimum Days

We do so much here at Me and I want each child to get the best out of our setting. The minimum number of days for a child to start at Me is 2 days a week. At the moment, we’re not able to cater to parents who need term time spaces only.

Swapping Days

We do not swap agreed days.  If parents need to place their children at Me for day(s) other than those contracted it will be charged as an extra day.

Retainer Charge

Please be advised that a non-refundable retainer is charged however will be deductible from the first month’s fee. The retainer is 10% of your child’s monthly fees. The retainer is payable every month until your child’s start date.

Invoicing

Nursery fees are paid one month in advance by Go Cardless or childcare voucher. All fees are calculated over 52 weeks per year and divided into twelve equal monthly installments… therefore the fee which you have been given will remain the same whether your child is at nursery or not, subject to changes in your nursery fees or your child’s sessions. Extra sessions are invoiced a month in arrears.

3/4 Year Old Funding

In England, all 3 and 4 year olds, and some 2 year olds, are entitled to government funding. This is usually 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. Some working families are now eligible for up to 30 hours a week of funding for their 3 and 4 year olds. Please check your eligibility here

Tax-free Childcare

Families with children under the age of 4, can now sign up for tax-free childcare. You can find more information here

Parking

Parking on Ickburgh Road is not free until 11am. Although we expect most parents to walk or cycle to Me Montessori, we ask that parents do not park all day on Ickburgh Road. We want to respect the parking rights of our neighbours.

Healthy Eating

Alongside fresh air and regular exercise, a good balance diet is essential for children to develop healthily. I am happy to provide all children in my care with healthy snacks and drinks, and serve healthy packed lunch provided by their parents.

I encourage children to choose healthy options and to experiment by trying new foods from other cultures. Older children are encouraged to help in the preparation of snacks.

We do not offer children fizzy drinks in our setting. Children are offered either water, milk or a diary-free milk substitute.

You’re an important figure in her little heart

Folarin, I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful job you’ve done with our daughter you have guided her well. Laugh/tease her, cuddle her when she needs one. You’re an important figure in her little heart and we hope we will keep in contact for a long time to come.
